MMD (MikuMikuDance) is a 3D animation software and file format popular for creating animations with virtual characters. PMX and PMD are the model file formats used by MMD.

Currently, .pmx and .pmd format files are supported. PMX is the newer format with more features, while PMD is the legacy format.

While there's no hard limit, we recommend keeping MMD files under 20MB for optimal loading and rendering performance.

Yes, all processing is done locally in your browser. Files are not uploaded to our servers, and your model data remains completely private.

Please ensure the file is a valid .pmx or .pmd format. If the issue persists, the file may be corrupted or use unsupported features.

The MMD viewer is a read-only tool and does not support editing features. For editing MMD models, use PMD/PMX editors or MikuMikuDance software.
